Nutramigen formula

Has anyone gave their baby nutramigen formula for colic before and worked?

My baby has lots of gas and colic and his doctor insists that i change his formula to nutramigen because it will help with his colic/gas did it help your baby if you tried it before? If yes, how long did it take before you noticed the difference?

He’s currently on the gerber soothe formula.

Im just scared to change his formula for it not to work. But i guess i will give it a try. Its expensive for a reason i guess 🤷🏻‍♀️ so it must work
