Unbiased book on labor and delivery?

I’m just looking for a book that discusses what labor is like, methods on how to handle the pain, what to do in certain situations, and so on.

I’m finding that any book that is about natural methods to handle this dis on the medical side so much. C-sections are bad. Inductions are bad. Doctors are bad. All medical side is bad! I hate it. I get that there are bad doctors in the world, but mine is 100% not that way and the hospital I will be at is not that way.

The doctors push for vaginal delivery unless baby isn’t doing well. The hospital has tubs, showers, birthing balls, and birthing chairs. In fact the place I go to has two midwives in the place for you as well.

Anyways, the point is, I don’t care what has to happen as long as my baby is healthy and we are both well. This is my first time and my entire plan is to just see how much I can handle. If I go natural, cool, medicated, cool, induced, okay, c-section, that’s fine.

I just what a book that says, this is what it is like, this is how to prepare, and this is what you can do to handle it.

Any suggestions?
