Evening Primrose Oil to induce??

Question

I know it won’t actually “induce” labor but just helps the body prep. Does anybody have any experience? Is it better to take it orally or vaginally?
ETA: I’m about 80-90% effaced and 1.5cm dilated.

I did it my last pregnancy. I can't remember when I started taking it, but it was at least for a couple weeks. I felt as if it did nothing. I took it orally.

I started to take it but then my Dr said I shouldn't because it could act as a blood thinner and I hemmoreged with my 4th baby. Other than that I dont know much about it.

I do one vaginally. At 38 weeks I was 2cm and my midwife said I was soft and cervix was anterior. I think it’s helped a lot.
