Breast pump through insurance (USA). When did you receive yours?

I’m due in a week but haven’t received my Breast pump yet.. should I call them and ask? Or do they send them out after the due date and they shouldn’t be worried ?

I got mine around 36 weeks I believe. But i remember it saying something about when my insurance would allow it to be shipped out. My friend got hers already and she is like 14 weeks. So I believe it has more to do with insurance requirements

I got mine through Aeroflot at like 26 weeks. Who’d you go through? I’d call at least to confirm they’re actually going to ship you one. That way you know if you need to go through a different company or something.

I got mine through Aeroflow and from the time the insurance approval went through it took about 4 weeks to arrive. I had received emails confirming the insurance approval and shipping details.

I thought you had to apply for one or something through your insurance. My insurance doesn't do that so I don't get one.

I got mine through 1 Natural Way and got it within a week of my doctor sending in the prescription. I would call and check the status

Got a prescription for one and was able to get it @ 38 weeks they originally made the prescription at my 36 week appointment but there was some kind of snafu. I used a local distributor in MN here ordered wensday and got by Friday. So I’d definitely look into any local distributor that take insurance and you can give your prescription to if you’d like to have it quickly . I’ve used one of the online options that takes insurance as well for my first pregnancy and I remember that taking about a week to week half to arrive. With my second I completely spaced getting it ordered so the hospital did have medela as there only option and were able to bill my insurance and send me home with that one.
