I really like the name Andie Scout but my my bf thinks it’s a boys name I think it could be used for both

Its cute and definitely could be for either boy or girl. Yes, Andie could be short for Andrew but with an "ie" at the end, it looks more feminine to me like short for Andrea. Not sure if youre thinking of it as a nickname, but thats my logic behind it. Its cute either way 😊

Andrea is my real name but I’ve gone by Andi since elementary school. I love Andi and wouldn’t change it for anything. I like that it’s relatively uncommon and that it fits my tomboy personality. Im not as crazy about Andrea but it gives me a more sophisticated option when I need it. 
I also really like Scout. It gives off “To Kill a Mockingbird” vibes. Super cute. I wasn’t sure about Andie Scout together but it could work - it’s already grown on me as in finish typing this sentence 🤔😉
