Non-stress Tests
I was just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this question...
I have had two healthy pregnancies and babies born in my 30s (one when I was almost 31 and the other at 33.5) - with both of those pregnancies, however, I was considered “morbidly obese” and was required to get Non-Stress Tests each week from 30 weeks on during each pregnancy.
Since my last baby was born, I have lost a little over one hundred pounds, and I’m now only about 3 pounds overweight for my height.
My question is - does anyone know, now that I’m over the age of 35, will I be required to again get Non-Stress Tests even though I’m not considered “high risk” because of my weight? [This was my only “high risk” complication] Since I know any pregnancy over the age of 35 is considered a “geriatric pregnancy” 🙄 (lol that sounds so awful)
*This is if I am able to get pregnant in the future. I am not currently pregnant*
