Frozen embryo transfer - September 8th ❄️💙

Hey ladies!

I haven’t posted on here in a super long time. I just wanted to see if I had any cycle buddies out there!

A little about me: my husband and I did IVF in January and unfortunately all five of our embryos stopped developing by day five. We were heartbroken but we were determined to keep hope alive. We were diagnosed with unexplained fertility for 3 years. After IVF we were able to get our official diagnosis - my husband had a hidden male factor issue that caused our embryos to cease development. We knew we didn’t want to go through with the mental, physical, and emotional stress of IVF again knowing that our chances of having a baby were so slim... that’s when we started exploring embryo adoption. We were so incredibly blessed to have matched with our amazing donors a month after! We have two little snowflakes waiting for us and we are over the moon! Everyone’s journey to motherhood is different but however motherhood comes to you it is a blessing!

We are scheduled to transfer embaby #1 on September 8th. I am currently on estrogen pills and patches and will start PIO injections and progesterone suppositories on Wednesday of this week. We did an ERA cycle with my last cycle and let me just tell you, if you’re thinking about doing it... DO IT! Our embaby wouldn’t even have a chance if we transferred at the standard time. I found out that I need an extra 24 hours of progesterone before my lining is receptive! It was worth every penny!

Id love to hear others experiences and connect with anyone else who is currently doing a frozen embryo transfer. It’s always nice to have support!

Ohh and and prayers would be amazing!! 🙏🏻💙
