I was supposed to check it at 3 minutes, but missed it and this is how it looked at 5 minutes. Could checking it 2 minutes late cause a false positive???

No that’s positive. It’s usually after checking 10 minutes that they say it’s invalid and usually only with cheaper tests. I never had a negative first response change to a positive no matter how long it sat out. Congrats!!
