Traveling by plane with 2 month old. Tips?

We will be flying up for my brothers wedding in October and I’ve never flown with a newborn. Wondering how do I bring/ store my already pumped milk (I pump exclusively and need extra for when family babysits during the wedding) and do I bring her in her car seat for the plane?
Literally clueless on how to do this! Haha.

Before covid, to bring the car seat on the plane you had to pay an additional fare since it would be taking up a seat. That could be different now that planes are not fully booked. When I flew I checked the car seat and stroller at the gate. I have bags for them and had wipes with me to wipe everything off periodically. 
For milk, you can carry it on. You just tell TSA that it’s breast milk and they inspect it. When I flew last, they took the bag and wiped the outside but did not open it. I had a small lunchbox cooler to carry the milk and had an ice pack in there. You don’t want to freeze milk while you’re gone, because you don’t want it to defrost on the way back, so keep in a fridge. 
My doctor recommended bringing my boppy on the plane, and I’m glad I did! It was so much more comfortable for me to hold her during the flight. It was a little annoying to carry in the airport, but I’m glad I did it. I have two covers and had them both on while in the airport. Once we were on the plane I took off the top one. (I was so worried about cold/flu germs I was cleaning everything 🤪) I nursed for take off and landing and she slept the entire way. We were lucky she was so good. 
I flew in January, before COVID, and my daughter was 4 months.

You can look up what your flight allows on their site.
Usually you can bring a car seat or you can hold them. You should be able to bring milk, but I’d double check. you can bring a diaper bag as a carry on and any medicine you bring had to be new/unopened.  You can also bring a stroller.
