!!! softdisc pain someone pls help !!!

so i’m kinda young and i’m also kinda terrified rn so if someone could help that’d be awesome.

i was testing out one of those softdisc things yesterday cause i wanted to see if it was better than tampons and i could not for the life of me get it hooked around my cervix. i was like trying to let the disc move up naturally and it kept kinda sticking out so i pushed it in a bit more and i think i pushed it in too far or something cause i felt like a pop and it started hurting pretty bad. not like screaming omg i need a doctor bad, just like ow holy shit get this thing out of me. so i took it out and threw it away and just put in a tampon but it hurt. like even just having a tampon in hurts, having no tampon hurts a bit (idk if that is just cramps). i’m also a virgin i don’t know if that’s important but i am. i also only just started birth control this month and i know that can cause new cramping that i’m not use to. so i don’t know if this pain is cause i pushed something too far into my vagina and ruined myself or if it’s just new cramping and i’m being dramatic. but yeah pls help i’m kinda freaking out and i don’t have anyone in my life i feel comfortable talking to. thank you!!💓

tl:dr- i put a softdisc in and pushed it in, heard a pop and one day later i’m still in pain. also just started bc so it could be new unfamiliar cramps. but it just hurts and i need advice, thanks.
