IUI with clomid this October

So we just got finished discussing next steps with RE. Husband was referred to a male infertility urologist as his numbers werent bad but he has retrograde so its inconsistent and may need to be taken from his urine instead. looks like we will be moving forward with iui in October. The plan is to go on bc and start clomid once we return from our vk and will be doing a trigger shot when its go time lol. Im nervous as im not sure what to expect from the med. Any advice and success stories for first round much appreciated!!
