I may be reading your pronunciation wrong but it looks like you’re saying it’s supposed to sound like evil lice.
To look at the spelling, I would have guessed Eye-vuh-lease. But looking at your pronunciation I’m hearing evil lice.

I love it, and I'm european, the spelling looks fine to me. I would probably pronunce it more like Ee-vah-leece (is that what you're going for as well? I could be mistaken) and I think it's a VERY pretty name, not something I've heard before but gorgeous nonetheless.
