Is a bad sex life a reason to leave a marriage?

When I say bad. I mean really bad. Almost every time it ends with me and tears.

What else is going on? Like what makes it bad? Mentally/emotionally? If there is other issues in a relationship, your sex life will inevitable suffer too.

I saw the additional info you provided in a previous posting. Ugh! I am sorry to hear about your sex life and can relate.  Honestly, I could totally see my marriage ending Bc of this. Sex was extremely and still is important to me and since we had children...it’s gone from several times a week to once every 2-3 months in the last six years of marriage. My husband had the audacity to get a vasectomy (2-3 month after our last child’s birth) when I asked him just to wait for me to mentally prepare for it. I was not trying to have more children and was willing to go on birth control. I just don’t like making decision when I feel my life is in “survival” mode after birth. Long story short...he’s been sleeping on the couch for years of our marriage but it’s gotten more and more frequent and the sex was less and less.  I hit my breaking point with the vasectomy Bc it didn’t make sense for him to go and do it when we rarely have sex if any at all. A lot came out and he told me he doesn’t feel comfortable having sex when I am pregnant and not pregnant Bc I breastfeed. He also doesn’t enjoy going down on me Bc I have given birth...soooo there’s that. To top all of this off with a big red bow...I went to a pelvic floor therapist Bc I leak when I run. She tells me I have a bladder prolapse. In the midst of all of this shit I didn’t need to deal with...there’s that. Now, I could freaking care less about sex. I told my husband how I don’t think things will get better. I am not willing to stop breastfeeding either to “find out” if they will. For me, I am going to fix this prolapse and focus on my baby and children. If things don’t get better, I will try counseling with my husband. It’s sucks Bc you want to feel loved but don’t want your SO to feel pressured to have sex. I never saw this coming...we had the wildest sex life years ago. 
I truly hope you can work things out. Maybe try a therapist??

Yes! I respect religion, but I always worry about people who get married before seeing if they are sexually compatible! If things cant/wont work out, i’d definitely leave to pursue happiness. Good luck!
