Baby Shower during COVID..

My sweet and wonderful mom wants to throw me a baby shower. While I love this idea cause this is my moms first grandbaby, she’s not taking any of my requests into the planning.

My husband and I really wanted to do a safe version of a baby shower and do what most parents to be are doing...a drive by shower!

Now I looove this idea and my husband thinks it’s the safest and best option for how big our families are. Well my mom keeps saying “well at so-and-so’s baby shower they had masks and everyone was social distancing.” I saw many photos of this persons shower and saw no masks or social distancing.

How can I put my foot down without hurting my moms feelings or worse a tantrum....?
