Who is in the right ???

My husband and I got into an argument- we sorted it out and are totally fine now but just curious what your thoughts are :

My sister asked me if I could pick up my niece from school today bc she has work and I said yes. Last minute I realized I had a meeting during the time I needed to pick her up and I asked my husband if he would mind doing it, he said he would do it and all was good. An hour before he had to pick her up I sent him a reminder text with the address of the school, and after half an hour I realized he never saw it. I began to get a little nervous that he forgot about having to pick her up in half an hour (also bc it was her second day back, I didn’t want her to be worried if someone was late picking her up, and it was MY responsibility in the first place so I would feel guilty if she was forgotten). I texted his friend to see if he was with my husband (bc they work together, I thought maybe he had stopped by work) and he said no. In the end my husband hadn’t forgotten, he was at my nieces school on time and all was good.

LATER THAT EVENING my husband and I were planning on going out to dinner, my husband said he was going to work for a bit and asked if we could meet at the restaurant I said of course. Meanwhile, I was studying for a test I had the next morning when I realized I wouldn’t be able to make it for dinner and finish studying for tomorrow’s test so I texted my husband to see if he could just pick up and bring home so I could continue studying. His texts weren’t delivering and I called and realized his phone was dead. Now I’m in a dilemma bc if I leave I really won’t finish studying for the test, BUT my husbands phone is dead and I don’t want him waiting for me by the restaurant! So again, I test his work friend (who’s a close friend of ours btw- not some random dude) and asked if he’s with my husband. We worked it out and he came home with the food.

THEN my husband asks me: Why do you keep asking my friends where I am???

And I’m like what?? You weren’t answering my texts in the morning and I wanted to make sure niece wasn’t forgotten and in the evening your phone was dead and I wanted to make sure you wouldn’t be waiting for me !!!

He made me feel kind of stupid and obsessive when I can’t EVEN REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I TEXTED HIS FRIEND ASKING WHERE HE WAS.

This is not something I do often it just happen to be 2 times in one day.

We really did work it out and he understood my side as I did his, but I’m just curious, who do you think is in the right ??
