Stomach Ulcer and Wine?

Almost a month ago I was in the hospital for abdominal pain and found out that I had a stomach ulcer. They put me on anti acid medication which I have been taking twice a day since prescribed. I was told to take them for one month and it should be healed within that month. They said to avoid foods that hurt me and gave me a list of things that may make it worse that included alcohol. I haven’t had any pain at all the past weeks and I have been incorporating those foods back into my diet with no problem. I have a small party to go to later for my friends birthday tonight and I was wondering if it would be okay to drink wine? I don’t want to make anything worse but I haven’t drank in months and just wanted to indulge a little tonight. I’ll call my doctor as well just to make sure but just trying to get some insights!
