So its been 3 months that ive been taking .5mg of Ativan for anxiety after losing my baby in april...turners out i have a hyperactive thyroid causing the anxiety. I started to taper my benzo last Monday by taking half..im so terrified to have a seizure but im just ready to be off of these things..i never wanted to take them and some days ill take it if i absolutely need it..when j stopped them CT i had vertigo for 3 days until i gave in and took another...im just tired of the panic and anxiety and racing heart while im laying down doing nothing and tremors and muscle spasms..im up to my neck with bills from the ambulance and hospital because i run to the ER everytime i feel like i cant control it just for them to send me home. im just so scared ro have a seizure and i heard that ppl who take higher doses and for a long time are more likely to have a seizure..can somebody give me advice or help ease my mind about this taper ? i also have hydroxyzine but im scared to take that too
