Do I need to bbt during my period?

I usually take temp vaginally so didn't want to really do that during AF... is it needed to take temp for bbt during AF? Thank you x

Period time Definitely don't temp. There is no reason to. Temping is only used to confirm ovulation. I start temping 3 days after a period only because I have seen other woman ovulate way early. I usually don't ovulation til cd19- cd20. It's cool to see the temps go up and down but I feel it drives people crazy. Everytime it dips we all freak out.

I start temping after I finish my period. People say start from cycle day 1 but for me it doesn’t make a difference.
