Covid quarantine?!

Question

Anyone else been pretty much locked down besides OB appointments since March? My hubby does all the food shopping or we have it delivered. I go for walks around the neighborhood or park and we go to our parents’ houses. That’s it.
I have friends with toddlers (I have one small child) that have been supportive and are basically doing the same cautions as us. 
I have friends that go to Long Island and party every weekend that CONSTANTLY ask when we can hang out.... I finally just lost it and had to tell her for the 1,000 time that I miss my friends terribly but it’s not gonna happen especially when she’s out and about with dozens of different people every week. Think I don’t want a date night with my husband? Think I don’t want play dates with my son?! It’s been awful! Being super pregnant, I’m physically AND mentally done.

Exactly the same here. I don’t understand how so many people seem to have just gonna back to normal life. Nothing has changed.

In the same boat! I’m 34 weeks with a 16 month old. Besides going for walks and going to my parents I haven’t done or gone anywhere. Other than OB appointments. It’s so different from my first pregnancy. I have good and bad days. Some days I’m perfectly fine with doing my little daily routine others I just want to go somewhere and do something. But keeping my family safe and healthy is my number one. Just remember to try and do something each day for yourself I know it’s hard being stuck at home... we got this moma!

Since March I haven’t been to the grocery store etc. it’s been odd. I did have one friend with a same age toddler who we decided to let the kids play since we share a backyard and they kept seeing each other, but they’ve since moved. But yeah, life is not normal here. Was just telling my husband how much I miss being able to eat at a restaurant etc. will be even more strict as it gets closer to birth and then once the newborn is here.

Girl SAME! I’ve gotten in a huge fight with my best friend because she did not understand that I’m not risking anything just to hangout! None of my friends or even family seem to be super safe anymore. I’m so sick of sitting inside doing nothing. I still work but besides that I do nothing

So happy to see these responses; my family and I have been super cautious and sometimes it feels like we get judged for it. I can’t believe how many people ignore the risk. I have read so many comments on this app saying “it’s not that bad” or “worst case it’s like the flu”. Ummmm, no. There is no way to predict how severe it can be! Plus, I don’t want to even think about the family having to be apart of one of a gets sick and has to go to the hospital. 💔Props to you all for staying safe - I appreciate you! 🥰

I was locked down until my husband and I had to go back to teaching. Our school opened up for in person learning August 4th. It sucks and is terrifying. I went no where since March and now I’ve jumped in the ocean with sharks.
