Gulping during eating?

How do I stop this? My 5 week old gulps and causes her to be gassy. Gas drops don’t work, pediatricians think it’s because she’s a gulper idk how to get her to stop 😭

Slower flow nipple. 
If you notice the baby isn’t breathing well during feeding you can try paced feeding. We had to do this with our son. He had bad suck, swallow, breathe coordination.

My two week old does this too!!! We have come to the conclusion it’s the bottles. He doesn’t do it nearly as much with the comotomo bottles so we are going to switch to those and see how that goes. I’ve noticed sometimes if we hold him upright while feeding he doesn’t gulp quite as much but it still didn’t fix the issue.

Breast or bottle feeding? If bottle use a slow flow nipple. Otherwise nothing you can do, she’ll grow out of it as she gets bigger and more efficient
