My turn❤️

We welcomed our baby girl into this world this afternoon. Yesterday I went into my 39 week appointment and had a membrane sweep, dr said I was 4 cm dilated so I was hopeful it would work. Well it sure did! Had my bloody show last night around 1130. Went to bed and was woken up at 4 am to contractions. I knew they were labor contractions right away and called my husband to come home, he was at work so it took two hours for us to get to the hospital and get checked in. They checked me when I got here and I was at 6cm, unfortunately baby girl was sunny side up so the epidural didn’t do anything for my back labor, I felt like my back was broken and my hips were being torn apart. Finally after 8 hours of labor the dr said I was 10cm! 15 minutes of pushing (and yes I pooped 🤦🏼‍♀️🤢) our beautiful baby girl was born. She was 39+3 gestation, weighed 8 lbs 2 oz and was 19.75 inches long. She is doing amazing and we are beyond in love.
