Mothers

Stay at home mothers. Working mothers.

Why it really doesn't matter which.

Were human, and humans get burnt out.

Why is that so hard to comprehend that.

For the mother who stays home, I feel you. My heart goes out to you. My heart aches for you. Because even when you barely keeping it together, I know your heart. I know that the only thing keeping you going is that precious smile looking back at you.

How can you not see it in my face? In the housework? In the way my hair looks like it hasnt been brushed for days. Why is it because you work that sleep is considered for you a necessity and for me like I won the lottery?

For the mother who works, and her job never ends, I feel you. My heart goes out to you. My heart aches for you. Because even when you barely keeping it together, I know your heart. I know that the only thing keeping you going is that precious smile looking back at you.

That even after a long day at work, the dinner and house and laundry must be done. That even after you can rest for a moment, your back at it five minutes later.

You all doing a beautiful job

You never fall short. You never aren't good enough. I love you. And you are stunning with spit up on your shirt.

Keep your head up.

I'm A stay at home mom for the second time. I've done both, worked and stayed home... I feel like being a stay at home mom is harder than going to work. I should add that my kids are 11and 2 and my older daughter has Down Syndrome. I also take care of my grandma whom just had a stroke in June. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. My kids are my world and I would do anything for them as any other momma would. All that matters in my life is my kids are happy and healthy. But this momma is definitely tired most days.
