How to know their gender?

So in a few weeks I’ll do the blood work for genetics plus it gives would the X-Y chromosomes. The dr explained the test would only collect to see if there is a Y. So with twins, no Y that means they’re girls. But would it be possible to know if boy girl or boy boy? Or that just will just be available during an ultrasound???? Thnxx

I was told the NIPT test can only determine definitely if it was two girls and if there is a Y chromosone, they eill not be able to tell if it is boy/girl or boy/boy. I didn't want the uncertainty, so we're impatiently waiting for our anatomy scan in a few weeks.

I had the lab test where you could tell both genders , NIPT at 12 weeks or so

I think there are some tests these days that do let you know both genders. But it sounds like the one you’re getting will just let you know if there’s at least one boy - you won’t know if it’s one or two.
