Too much holding?

Question

Hey guys, so my baby is 3.5 months old, I wear her a lot and was wondering if I could be holding her too much. She hates being put down it seems like. Any advice?

You can never hold baby to much. Before you know it she won't want to cuddle as much any more. Enjoy it now trust me. My son is 14 months. He doesnt cuddle much anymore. I held him all the time.

I agree with pp. I’m a new Mom and people would tell me I was holding my baby too much. Not many but a few. But I didn’t listen whatsoever. My baby was/is a clingy one especially as a newborn and I couldn’t let her cry. I probably held/wore her nearly 24/7 the first several months. Sometimes it would be very tiring because I could barely eat or get anything else done. But I don’t regret it, I blinked and now she’s almost 15 months running around everywhere playing independently🥰  Enjoy it. You aren’t spoiling your baby and they need you to feel safe. It goes so fast!💕

As long as the baby is getting tummy/floor time each day to practice gross motor skills like rolling and lifting her head, then I would say no you cannot hold the baby too much. I miss being able to hold and cuddle my daughter for naps, now she will only nap in her crib and never wants to be held. She won’t even let me hold her to have a bottle half the time anymore.
