Concern for my nephew 😔

My oldest nephew (13 years old) and I were having a conversation about his sexuality and that there is a possibility that he may be gay. My concern is that my entire family is very Christian and homophobic and he will not get the support he needs if it turns out that he's gay. I already let him know that I will fully support him and he gave me the tightest hug ever and told me not to tell anyone 💖 every time I think about my family's reaction I can't help but feel so heartbroken for him 😔 especially his dad (my brother) who is such a "macho man" and speaks so negatively towards the lgbtq community. I love my nephew so much and I don't want him to ever be disrespected for who he is by the people that are supposed to love him the most. Did anyone go through something similar or know someone that did?
