Wondering if this has happened to anyone. My husband and I decided to try for baby #3 in late July. This is the first time we had unprotected sex since I got pregnant with our 2nd. I started testing close to the time my period would be due. I never got anything more than a few questionable tests. No BFPs. After taking many HPT and being 2 weeks late at this point, I decided to get a blood test. It was the type that just said neg or positive, it didn’t tell me what the count was. It came back neg and about 4 days later I started what I guess was my period. It started very different than any other one I have ever had. It was like mucus with blood in it. By the next day it was heavier.. which lasted 2 days. After those 2 days it turned into spotting. I’m going on day 20 and still spotting. I have an ultrasound tomorrow, so I will update once I find out what happed. Again, nothing like this has ever happened. I have only been late if I was pregnant, and I have never bleed longer than 5 days. Can you have a miscarriage without ever getting a positive test?
