Implantation bleeding or period?

tmi. But could this be implantation bleeding? 
My “period” is 9 days late?

Period . Implantation bleeding isn’t even a “proven” phenomenon ... I believe some women reported break through bleeds early so they needed to name it , but the idea behind “implantation bleeding” is that when the embryo breaks the surface of the uterine lining to implant it can cause a VERY TINY amount of blood but by the time most women see it the blood has become a pink/brown spot . On period . It would be rare for you to not get a positive test 9 days late

Period for sure, implantation happens before your period is supposed to start. Technically a week before your period.
6-12DPO is when implantation occurs, typically 9DPO.
