Baby walking??

Question

My almost 10M old has been walking while supporting herself with the couch, bed etc for over a month now but she won’t let go and stand on her own no matter what! Lol
For mamas whose babies are already walking, anything you did to encourage them to let go of support? I didn’t want to give her a walker.

My guy will be 10 months on the 16th and has been standing on his own for over 2 weeks, he’s even taken tentative steps between myself and Daddy. 
I literally just let go of him one day and he stood still. He has been standing and walking with support for months because he doesn’t like to crawl. He will literally stand up all the time now. Just make sure if you try this that you are RIGHT THERE or they freak out more when they fall.

Following my son will stand alone but will not take a step unless I have a hand on him but will walk along anything he can

We did use a walker and he started walking at 8 and a half months completely on his own. Just one of those push walkers. He never really walked along furniture. Just used the walker and then straight to walking independently. I woukdng rush it though. Its easier before they start walking 🤣

Put out other things to transfer to? Maybe a upside down laundry basket or standing toy juuust a bit out of reach! But also life is easier when they couch cruise so you might want to keep it that way 😆
