Any none walkers still?

My girl is 13.5 mths and just started to take a few wobbly steps. I can tell she really isnt happy and will only do it if I coax her. She has always been on the later side of normal with her gross motor development so I was never expecting her to be a early walker. I can tell physical she is able and she has the balance. It a confidence issue. We try and practice as much as she is happy with. Just wanted to find out if we were the last to find our feet.

My daughter is turning 14 months next week and she will walk along furniture with no problem and even pulls herself up against stuff, but I don't think she has the confidence to let go and try to walk on her own. She discovered how to crawl fast around 12 months and ever since then she just likes to crawl around fast.

I’m in the same boat with my girl. She’ll take 5 or 6 steps and then slowly sits. It’s not because she loses balance, she just decides she’s done and crawls the rest of the way. I agree it’s a confidence thing. I think once they realize they’ll get wherever they’re going faster when they walk/run, they’ll just go for it.

This sounds exactly like my girl! I don’t think it helps that with COVID we are mostly home and she knows how to get around our house easily without needing to walk. The first time she stood up from sitting was in my grandmas yard because she had no other choice! She started walking around the house yesterday and today she’s practically running. I’m sure your girly will be the same way

It was 5 weeks between my LO’s first steps and walking. She was the same way, I could tell she had the balance but no confidence. When she finally decided to walk she was immediately a pro! No coaxing from me, I was busy making a bed and she started randomly walking in circles and clapping for herself lol.
