Newbie

Hi, my name is Adam.

You may or may not know of my daughter, Ivy and my partner, Cassie.

They are already part of this group and I have finally decided to join the community too.

Mostly for advice and tips of what to do as a father through the difficult times of raising a child, such as keeping a schedule and how to deal with tantrums but to also see what milestone my child should be hitting.

Honestly I haven't been a very involved father and left a lot of it down to Cassie but I'm trying to do my part now and I don't want to make Cassie tell me how to do everything. I need to take the step into the parenting world myself, just like she did. I've been finding it difficult at times when I am left alone with Ivy when my partner works 12 hour shifts I don't know how to deal with her in certain circumstances and would like to find advice and guidance to help.
