Hi,

My youngest sister is 20 years old, she've always been strong, smart and super ambitious.

A month ago, she started acting weird and it quickly turned to her having delusions and talking non sense, we took her to psychiatrist who asked as to take her to the ER, they've finally decided to send her to to a psychiatric hospital where she stayed for a month.

They clearly gave her medecines to calm her down and at some point she started having fever.

After a couple of tests, they realized her liver enzymes were super super high, they stopped all medecines except one named "temesta"

She, at that point, started to get back to normal and my parents decided to take her home. When she came home, she spoke to me and she was very conscious, she remembered everything and explained what she was feeling before that episode but she seemed traumatised from her stay at the hospital, she knows her liver wasn't ok and she hated it. A day has passed and she started acting weird again, she would cry, laugh and claim things that were wrong, she couldn't sleep and it got worse to the point where she started having delurium again. The doctor recommended that she goes back to the psychiatric hospital for her own safety.

The tests still show that her liver isn't okay and they're going to perform a biopsy today.

I'm super anxious and confused, my sister never had any panic attack before in her life, she was never anxious but she had troubled relationships with my parents, her friends and then her ex whom she loves and he doesn't.

I don't know why she entered in a long bad episodes of psychosis, why her liver got so bad like she was an alcoholic, she wasn't it. She don't have any hepatitis.

Now she's In a really bad condition, she's very delusional, I'm 2000 km away, I'm super confused, sad, anxious and depressed.

I feel like at this point, nobody is helping her and nobody knows what's wrong with her or why would her liver is super bad.

Anyone knows anything about such experiences?

Anyone knows someone who suddenly started having delurium?
