When did your babies start talking?

My son is almost 13 months now and refuses to say ANY words still. He can’t walk unassisted￼ either! Is this normal? When did your babies begin to say real words? And what words are good to get him to start saying?

Around 18 months my daughters vocabulary exploded she was saying words I wasn't sure she even knew. 13 months is still pretty young she only said mama, dada, diapy (diaper) and cup at 14 months.

My girl only said dada and very rarely mama but she could take directions alright. Once she turned like 17 months she has stopped saying things. She's 19 months old now and tries to repeat everything. It seems like every day she's able to say a new word in some way. She also didn't start walking until she was almost 17 months. Her doctor wasn't concerned but it's worth bringing up at his next appointment

Same here . My son will turn 1 year in four days but he does not talk and walk . I went to my family doctor today and he got shocked to hear that my baby is not talking or walking . He told us to observe him and increasing his physical activities . I am worried 😔

My son is 14 mos and “talks” nonstop but I have no idea what he is saying. He says dadada and mamama but does not recognize what they mean. It’s like he speaks a whole other language lol I pretend to understand and we have conversations to try and help

My oldest started talking at 2,5 years old. But he walked at 9months and understood everything we said, could follow instructions etc. It was like he just collected words, because when he started talking it was 3-4 words sentences.

My oldest 10 months
Second some where between 14 months and 2 years . It was very subtle and here and there . At almost 10 she still doesn’t care for talking 😂
My 19 almost 20 month old really just started talking and forming more words. 
It’s very hit and miss honestly based on the kids. I wouldn’t freak out or rush to a does h therapist in my oppinion

My twins didn't start until close to 2 and no one could understand anything they were saying until almost 3. They would communicate by hand motions and things.
My first born started talking around 14 months but no-one could understand him until almost 3. 
I'm not sure why because I always tried working with them.
My 13 month old has just started saying mama, dada,  done, and nuh nuh for milk (she made that up lol). She only talks when she wants.

My son says mama, dada, nana, Gigi, papa, all done, night night and he’s 14 months old. You just have to work with them, repeat words to them. Also not walking is normal.
