Dont feel bad, its definitely common. I've been sexually active since I was 16 years old and im 24 years old now, didnt start experiencing legit orgasms til' the age of 22. The only advice I could possibly give is to not think too much about it and just let go. Enjoy the moment. Or even take control if that's something your into. Try positions that satisfy you the most or try new ones... orgasams is different for everyone but I will say you would definitely know when it's happening lol. It's more intense, then masturbating or oral pleasure.
