Bath seat. Worth it?

My mom recommended me to buy one of these for my daughter so I don’t have to worry about her slipping in the tub. I was wondering for moms who got these, is it worth it? Can you easily wash them in it?

We used a laundry basket when he grew out of his baby bath. After the basket, we used a mat on the bottom of the tub.

That looks like an epic pain for a short period. We used a gifted baby bath tub, but we were going to just use a plastic hamper.

Not worth it. After my son outgrew his baby bath tub (a baby shower gift), I would just lay him down in the tub in shallow water. Got none slip stickers for the bottom. He loves it.

I just bought a mat for the bottom of the tub because my little one would in that very long.

I have it and on the whole it was NOT worth it. I was only able to use it for a few weeks between the time that she was too big for her Angelcare one and when she was too big for the seat. It’s harder to clean their bottom half too but that wasn’t a big deal for me. I will say it firmly attaches to the tub and it gave me peace of mind. I just didn’t get much milage out of it before my daughter was too big and had to sit directly in the tub

We used it from 6-11 months for my daughter. She liked it and it was nice for us because she would stay in place while we gave her a bath.

I bought one when my son outgrew the infant tub.  I liked it a lot especially because he was in with me while I showered so it kept him secure.  We only used it for maybe 2 months though
