When did your baby start their 4-month sleep regression?

Just wondering when the sleep regression could hit....I’m scared!

My son was born May 20 and he started the regression about 3.5 weeks ago and we are finally just coming out on the other side! He started sleeping better once he would roll onto his side. I put him in his back, he immediately rolls to his side and falls asleep now.

With my son it hit at 13-14 weeks and lasted for 5 miserable weeks. With my daughter, I have been actively working to teach her to self soothe from an early age bc it was so traumatizing with my son. I unswaddled her at 8 weeks bc she was rolling. I have been putting her down drowsy but awake since then. She fusses for a few min but then rolls on her side and puts herself to sleep now. She will be 16 weeks on Monday. We had one or two bad nights around 14 weeks and that was it... If it hasn’t hit your babe yet, work on allowing your baby to put himself/herself to sleep- it will help you avoid the hell that may be heading your way! If your baby can already do this, you may be spared 👏🏽 Good luck mama!

Our little guy is 17 weeks and it started getting worse within the last week or so. He’s also had a cold though so I’m not sure how much is that and how much is sleep regression 🤷‍♀️
