Biting

My daughter bit a baby at nursery too they had to talk to me about it! 😬 She’s not done it again though yet!

My girl bit me yesterday when I wouldn’t let her drink my alcoholic drink 🤦🏼‍♀️ I yelled to like startle her (kind of to scare her) and she bit me like 10 more times. But she hasn’t since and that was the first time. My toddler bit me a few times and the startling thing worked with him.

I have a feeling this may become an issue for me too.My daughter Ivy has started softly biting me when she's upset. Mostly when I'm trying to get her to sleep. She doesn't bite hard at all but sticks her teeth around me and presses down. I'm worried she might get worse.When she does it I usually just firmly say "no Ivy, that's not nice" or "owch, that hurt" she usually starts crying after and I try to calm her back down but I'm worried it might get worse. She also sometimes slaps or kicks me or my partner and we take the same response as the biting. She never dies any of this unless she's already upset or tired but I don't want it to progress and get worse.Any tips on what to do or just keep telling her it's not nice and it hurts?

Arias a biter, a pusher and a pincher 😩 shes never done it to me but she does it to her sister a few times to the point we have a time out corner for her 🥴🙄 so far she hasnt done it at daycare yet! But im dreading the day we have to have that conversation 😩😂 although they have already been warned that she may do it so I think they just keep a super close eye on her
