Birthdays! Themes? Just family?

What are y’all doing for the big first birthday? What kinda theme? Inviting a lot of people or just family? I’ve never thrown a party before so I’m not sure what all to do. Do people still give little goodie bags or is that too extra? Do I need some kinda entertainment for other kids?? Idk what I’m doing!

We’re doing a “Mickey’s Not So Haunted Halloween Party” theme with close friends and family 🧡🖤💜💚

Current restrictions say we are only allowed to meet in groups of 6 so we won't be doing anything =( x

We’re doing a “Rookie Year” basketball theme. And just having food and cake with very close family. Our “quaranteam” who we’ve been with just about every weekend since COVID.

We are doing a “Our Little Pumpkin is One” theme and just having my parents, brother-in-law and his girlfriend, and one of my best friends over for pizza and cake. We see them all pretty much every weekend anyway. I wanted to have a big party with pumpkin everything but Covid. 🤷🏻‍♀️

We are doing “party animal” theme. I will decorate the garage, put his high chair in front and invite a few friends and family to sing to him and watch him smash cake. I just really want them to see how much he’s grown but will be doing it in a socially distant way.

We are doing two small immediate family parties and keeping it small and intimate. May do a little goodie bag for kids. Thinking a pink and gold Minnie Mouse theme brunch or dinner.

We aren’t doing anything. She won’t remember and we have no family. Maybe when she’s older.

We're doing a tea party theme with purple and gold everything 😊 it's just going to be family because of covid (my family is literally like 12 people lol). My in-laws will be here to celebrate on a different day.  My nieces and nephews will be here and we don't do goody bags for little ones. Mainly when they get older but it's all personal preference.
