Parents with baseboard heaters/ baby proof??

How have you guys made baseboard heaters safe and baby proof them???

I have base board heating and havent baby proofed them. Kids don't mess with them really

Can you teach them not to touch them if you can’t block it off? We only half baby proofed our house. Mostly we did the kitchen cupboards. But the DVDs, cords, cables, decor, etc we all left as normal and taught our son not to touch it. Our cousin has gates all over their house and around furniture they don’t want their kids to touch. I swear half their house is barricaded in one way or another.
