Is anyone else having to deliver without a birthing partner?

Question

Due to the pandemic I will have to deliver with just the hospital staff and I'm really nervous about it. 
I know women have done this for forever and our bodies are made for this but I have had complications with my past deliveries and I am super nervous not to have my partner there to help advocate for me. 
Anyway wondering if anyone else is in the same boat.

I might be. We have a two year old and due to the pandemic, dont really have anyone to watch him safely. My hubby may need to stay home.

Will be inducing at 37wks & my husband is able to be there with me. Asked the hospital where I’ll be & they said he can come & go. But he said he’s not leaving 😌. The hospital is allowing 2 people but only one person the room with me.

I probably will be delivering alone. I have two kids and the priority is for my husband to mind them. 
Anyways he didn’t do much the last two times ha. I’d prefer to have a half decent midwife and painkillers. I know he’ll be missing out but he understands the priority is the other kids and Me and the baby will be hopefully safe in the hospital. If we are lucky he’ll be there but I’m kinda preparing him not to be.

I feel so bad for those having to do this alone. Our hospitals allow one person the entire time. You cant switch out. But you can leave and come back as ling as itd not excessive. My mom will be watching my kids. But My husband will leave to come check on them since the hospital is in another town. However our other hospital option was 3 hours away and you cant leave at all. And you have to wait until active labor before dad can come in. So im glad we chose this hospital

Luckily I am going to a birth center separate from the hospital. If it were at the hospital my partner could be allowed but neither of us would be allowed to leave for a couple days, even to get things out of the car.

Absolutely not! In the heat of everything going on it’s always good to have someone (outside of the hospital staff) to stick up for you. We are allowed one support person, but they have warned us once we’re at the hospital he cannot leave until we are discharged. If he has to leave he cannot come back into the room, unless it’s to pick us up to go home. I would look into your state laws because New York was recently in trouble for forbidding anyone but the pregnant woman inside the hospital (it is law here in NM we can have 1 support person).

I might, not necessarily because the hospital said. They have a new rule here where the father can’t even enter the hospital until the mother is admitted and in “active” labor. On Sunday I went to labor and delivery because I was having painful contractions for 5 hours and they wouldn’t let him in even though the admitted me I wasn’t classified as active yet. He ended up passing out in the car(it was 2am) and if I would’ve actually gone into labor he would’ve missed it(he’s an extremely heavy sleeper, phone call wouldn’t have woken him unfortunately)

🤞🏻 hopefully should have him there. We also have a toddler to worry about. My mom is coming Into town 10-11 days ahead of EDD but as my firstborn came 3 weeks early, not sure if she’ll get here before labor starts

Can i ask wherr you are located that is making that a rule? 
Luckily I can still have 1 person in the room with me but they can not come or go. And no visitors.
