Gripe water

Anyone used gripe water? Did it work better than gas drops?

I have tried mylicon and have given several doses but babe is still gassy. Not very often that he gets this gassy but some days are awful.

I got some from my shower but kind of hesitant to give it when he was way too young. He is 5 months now and I'm wondering if I should give it a try since mylicon works 50/50 for him.
