Implantation bleeding or nah?

I started having really light spotting at 8 dpo and I’m STILL having spotting at 12 dpo. I took a test yesterday and it said negative :( is there still a chance that I am pregnant and that implantation just hasn’t finished yet? Has anyone experienced spotting this long before a BFP?
