So, I am pumping exclusively. My son never latched, no matter how hard I tried. I take my pump to work each day and today I left the plug by mistake. It has been 8 hours since I last pumped... And will be nearly 24 before I can get the cord.

Is there anything I can do to protect supply? Should I hand express and supplement in the meantime? Should I wait and just take medicine for the engorgement pain? I would just offer my baby the breast, but he will not latch and gets very upset when I try to get him to.

Not sure what to do....besides buy an extra cord so I have a work one and a home one and this doesn't happen again.
