Should I hide my scars in school?

So i’ve made a post asking on how to cover my cutting scars but nothing is really working for me so i’m debating just saying the heck with it and wearing whatever I want. My friends told me they’ll fight whoever tries to make me feel bad about them and one of my friends said they’ll steal their shoes and eat them. (As a joke- obviously) But I wanted to also ask you guys as an outside opinion. Thanks if you’ve voted and have a nice day! 💕

Your scars are a testament to what you’ve been through and overcome, don’t be ashamed of them. Wear them like a badge of honor, hell with what other people say, it makes them feel better to focus on your problems than to deal with their own. You’re above that

I’d always worry about hiding my scars and it brought me down a lot, I felt myself hold back from doing things or dressing how I wanted. In school most people really only worry about themselves tbh. 
I stopped hiding mine and rarely if at all that I remember did anyone say or notice them. If they did I’d ignore them or say nothing. At the end of the day it’s what makes you feel comfortable. You can slowly start hiding them less and less until you feel confident enough
