How safe "in percentage" is the pull out method ladies??!

Has anyone got pregnant, or knows of a pregnancy thats happened this way?!

78% effective according to planned parenthood website.. so for reference there is a 33% chance of getting pregnant while actually trying, and a 22% chance while using the ‘pull out method’... and most birth control offers less than a 1% chance.. pulling out is basically useless.

Technically it’s about as effective as condoms in both perfect and typical use. 
The issue is doing it properly. The main reason withdrawal fails has to do with poor timing, since sperm typically are not present in pre-ejaculatory fluid. In truth, the further away he is from ejaculation when he pulls out, the more effective withdrawal is. If he waits until the very last second, he’s much more likely to not pull out at all or pull out too late. That’s when the effectiveness really decreases. 
So be smart. Don’t rely on your man to do it right if he always waits until the last second. Condoms are preferable, but withdrawal can definitely be effective when done correctly.

The chance of pregnancy is high enough that you need to be using condoms or birth control if you don’t want to get pregnant.

🙄🤦‍♀️. If you would have probably typed in a search engine how safe is the pull up method you would have seen the thousand post about it.its a 50/50 chance. The guy pre cum can get you pregnant. If you don't want to get pregnant use a condom.

My cousin is a pull out baby. My coworker had twins in 2014 from pulling out. My brothers son was also a pull out baby haha. It is a lesser chance but still a chance.

i have friends that got pregnant on the pullout method... its probably the worst form of birth control there is... if you really dont want to get pregnant, use a condom and one other form of birth control like the pill, an iud, or the depo shot

My sister’s ex claimed he was infertile. They had sex only a handful of times and used the pullout method. My nephew will be 3 in December.
