How many eggs did you get in your IVF egg retrieval?

Hi everyone 
How many eggs did you get in your IVF egg retrieval? What’s a good number to start from?

I got 8 and all were mature. Ended up with 4 great blasts, one of which I had a fresh transfer with and am now 13 weeks. 
While people tend to compare numbers, I honestly wouldn’t. From the pretty extensive reading I’ve done, often people with lower numbers have better quality.

7 eggs, 6 mature, 4 fertilized, 1 day 5 blast. And it stuck and she’s now 2 months old!
Everyone told me “it only takes one” and I rolled my eyes at them. I was so sad to only get one. I cried a lot. But a month or so later I was crying happy tears when I finally got a BFP.

My understanding is the optimal amount doctor's strive for is around 12-15. More than that and quality may be effected.
I had 9 retrieved, 8 mature and fertilized with icsi (standard practice at my clinic) and 5 made it to day 5. We elected to start with a frozen transfer. Transferred 2 (non-pgs tested, mid-30s with history of multiple losses). Both stuck but lost twin B around 7 weeks. Twin A was born healthy last December.

I got 9 all mature, all fertilized and 7 made it to blast and freeze.
First fresh transfer 2 embabies was successful but miscarried at 16 weeks.
Second was frozen 2 embabies 
Successful but diagnosed with blighted ovum.
 I just started my 3rd cycle, hopefully 3rd times the charm.

9 retrieved, 9 mature, 6 fertilized, implanted 2 on day 3 and 1 of the remaining embryos made it to day 5 blast. I don’t know if there’s evidence but from what I’ve seen people with lower numbers like around 10 seem to have better quality and more blasts than those who get closer to 20 or more

As hard as it is, try not to compare. Everyone's numbers , outcome and journey are so different. The hardest part for me was trying to get rid of expectations, because in reality there is 0 control in the Ivf world. 
My first round we got 14 eggs, 7 mature, 5 fertilized and 0 made it to blast. Second round 12 eggs, 7 mature, 6 fertilized and 3 made it to blast. It's all about Quality > Quantity for sure.

We got 14 eggs, 11 fertilized, 8 made it to day 5 blastocyst and then 1 more on day 6! Made 9 embryos! Hoping for you!☺️

The number isn’t the important part but we got 11 eggs of which 9 were mature, 8 fertilized, then 3 made it to day 5. Had a fresh transfer of 1 and he is 7 weeks old. 
I’ve seen people with 30 eggs get 0 embryos and people with 1 egg get 1 embryo and become pregnant. As others have said it’s really the quality of the eggs which you won’t know.

21 eggs. 18 mature. 18 fertilized. 0 made it to day 5. A good number is between 10 to 15 according to my re.
