Braxton Hicks????

My son is almost 3 so I don’t remember what Braxton Hicks felt like with him but I’m currently 31 weeks my daughter and I have been having horrible period like cramps for a few weeks now especially at night changing positions sometimes helps but most of the time I have to get out of bed and move around until they stop. Is this what Braxton Hicks feel like?￼

I can’t really answer your question, but I had the same last night! My stomach feels sore, and I had some so strong they woke me up and made me cry. 😭

They say braxton hicks are not supposed to be painful. When I started having them with our 2nd it was stop in my tracks and let it pass or sit down right then and there. And I had never felt them with our 1st. Personally I would let my doctor know and just make sure it's nothing to be concerned about. It might be some round ligament pain combined with braxton hicks. You might even be getting a contraction here and there. A pregnancy support belt or some K Taping of your belly may help relieve some of that too.

If they don’t go away get more painful or get closer together then call your doctor

At my appointment yesterday, my dr said when in doubt call your dr, but that I should be fine unless they are so painful that I can move, and have a in crease of fuild, or blood.  She just said to try Nd move to a comfortable position, a low heating pad, or warm bath.
