Cold sore 😭 home remedies

Help!!, so I woke up with a cold sore this morning. I want to get rid of it fast. What are some tried and true home remedies?

Abreva only works for me before the blisters pop up or when the blisters are tiny.

I have used tea tree oil but i get a mild allergic reaction to it on my skin but it’s what seemed to work the best and fastest.

I used acetone in the past but I didn’t find it to work well.

Toothpaste? What kind? I heard some can actually make it worse.
