I’m sure many of us are in the same boat, wondering what the best option is in terms of having a baby shower this year. After a lot of thought my sister (who was planning on throwing the shower) and I came up with the following. I thought I’d share in case anyone else is struggling with what to do.

We are doing two things. The first will be in October. It’s a very small socially distance outdoor celebration. Less than 10 people. It’s with the people in my life I’m closest to and have seen within the last couple months.

Then later on we are doing a virtual shower extended to my entire family. I plan on using webbabyshower.com after reading reviews. It costs $70ish to host a virtual party with them, but I like the party themes, games, registry area, and more. It doesn’t have a livestream option, so I think I’ll try using the new Facebook rooms feature to schedule a stream.
