Why is a bf spending the night? He lives out of town or something? No. I myself will not contribute to them possibly having sex. That age is too young.

I’d let them sleep together. When I was that age, my parents allowed my bf to sleep in my room on occasion (like New Years they didn’t want him driving home late at night when people are drunk driving). I hate when people act like sex is not normal or not healthy or something. Honestly they’re gonna sleep together anyways and just sneak out of a window or some shit, question is only whether they’re gonna try to hide it from you 🤷🏻‍♀️

There wouldn’t even be the option for a boyfriend/girlfriend to stay the night. 
Except for extreme cases of need, it would never be an option. Even at 17/18 years old. You’re not an adult. Age doesn’t make you mature or responsible.

Id rather leave some condoms out and let them be in a safe place together instead of them creeping about and having sex in cara or on woodland or whatever

They’re basically an adult at that point. I’d rather let them sleep in the same room and know where they are and they they’re being honest with me, as opposed to drawing that hard “not in my house!” line and then having them sneak around. I’d just prefer the honesty.

My child’s bf/gf will not be spending the night period. I will not contribute to them possibly having sex. If it was an emergency situation where he/she had to spend the night they would not be in a bedroom alone. I would put them in a central location like a living room or something where I could be aware of what’s going on. Or my child would stay in their room and their bf/gf would be somewhere else.

No significant other is staying the night unless they're grown and engaged/married. But IF they did for some odd reason it would be separate rooms
