How soon can you take a pregnancy test??

I got my IUD out on September 1 and I’ve had unprotected sex a few times since. All the websites say to wait until your missed period but because I had the IUD my periods were never consistent anyway. When is pregnancy detectable on tests?

Because you just got it out on the first, you would need to wait probably a full month before testing.
If you got your period right after you got it out, then you would ovulate 2 weeks after that, and a pregnancy test wouldn’t be accurate for another 2 weeks after ovulation.
It can take 6-12 months for your cycle to regulate after stopping the iud.
Wait until the end of September at least before you test.
